FACT:   The Caribbean island of GRENADA is known as the SPICE ISLAND. The island produce a third of the world's NUTMEG.  Ginger, mace (derived from nutmeg), tumeric, cinnamon, cloves and other spices are also grown locally. An image of the Nutmeg is prominently featured on one corner of the Grenadian flag.
